Rosana Bailey’s practice is defined by meticulous preparation, strategic foresight and a calm, authoritative courtroom presence.
Rosana is a commercial-chancery barrister with a substantial High Court practice and a reputation for rigorous preparation, strategic clarity and exceptional client handling. Her work spans property litigation, contentious probate, insolvency, commercial disputes and cross-border matters, frequently involving complex factual matrices, multiple parties and overlapping legal frameworks.
She undertook a commercial and chancery pupillage at 11 Stone Buildings and Gatehouse Chambers (formerly Hardwicke) and has since developed a practice defined by forensic analysis, lucidity of thought and a commercially attuned approach. She is instructed by private individuals, SMEs, multinational companies, banks, local authorities and government bodies including HMRC.
Rosana leads cases from their earliest stages through to trial and appeal. She drafts all key documents, manages litigation strategy, conducts negotiations and appears in substantial High Court proceedings. Holding both the Public Access and Litigation Extensions, she provides a complete, end-to-end service where appropriate.
Her practice includes significant international work. She has acted as lead counsel in multijurisdictional disputes involving Kenya, India, Spain, Ghana, Jamaica and Grenada, coordinating litigation teams and working closely with overseas attorneys. Similarly, she represents clients based abroad who have disputes before the High Court in London.
