Humza is experienced in a broad range of common law work including, family, immigration, civil and crime. Prior to pursuing a career at the Bar, Humza was at a reputable Family and Immigration Solicitor’s firm. He applies that wider experience to the forefront of his practice.

Humza is contactable outside of court to assist his clients, either through advising them in conference or in writing. Humza thrives on building a strong rapport and confidence within clients and instructing solicitors, to ensure the best possible outcome.

Family

Humza has experience in Child Arrangement Orders at various stages throughout proceedings including First Directions Appointment, Further Hearings, Final Hearings and Fact Findings. He can take instructions regarding injunction applications, which include Non-Molestation orders, Occupation orders and prohibited steps orders.

Humza has experience in the handling of cases with a sensitive nature, involving domestic violence and abuse.

Furthermore, Humza represents clients in ancillary relief matters, as well as divorce matters.

Immigration/Nationality and Asylum

Humza handles a variety of immigration work including, appeals at the First Tier and Upper Tribunal.

Humza has experience in areas such as Human Rights, Asylum and EEA applications. He can also be instructed to draft grounds of appeal to the Tribunal.

Civil

Humza’s practice encompasses a wide range of civil matters, from small claims through to multi-track trials, inclusive of CCMCs, Stage 3, as well as applications relating to relief from sanctions.

Additionally, Humza also accepts instructions on matters relating to possession proceedings, landlord-tenant disputes as well as cases and mediations involving wills and probate.
