Senior Clerk

Brooke Stokes began her clerking career in 2016 at a leading commercial set, where she developed the core skills and foundations required to progress within the profession. This early experience provided her with a strong understanding of the principles of effective clerking, including diary management, client care and the importance of building strong working relationships with barristers, solicitors and clients.

After establishing this solid foundation, Brooke joined a specialist Intellectual Property chambers for a six-month period before moving to 10KBW in 2021, where she sought to broaden her clerking experience and develop her knowledge across new areas of law.

Since joining 10KBW, Brooke has gained an in-depth understanding of chambers and its members, playing a key role in managing and supporting practices through a period of significant change and development. Her experience over recent years has given her valuable insight into the evolving needs of both barristers and clients, allowing her to provide a knowledgeable, proactive and tailored service. Brooke manages and maintains the practices of members of chambers and is always happy to engage directly with clients to understand their requirements and ensure a consistently high standard of support.

Brooke has been described by clients and counsel alike as approachable, proactive and dependable. She particularly values developing trusted, long-standing relationships and understands the importance of delivering a responsive service that reflects the needs of those who instruct chambers.

Outside chambers, Brooke enjoys horse riding, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new holiday destinations.
