Sham Uddin

Call: 2015

Mediator

Having been a solicitor-advocate in all proceedings (civil, criminal and family) for over 16 years, Sham wanted to develop his expertise and was called to the bar as of 2015. Sham’s practices vary between family, civil and criminal law. Sham accepts direct access clients, being a solicitor-advocate and a barrister this has proven to greatly benefit his direct access clients in and outside court. He is also authorised to conduct litigation the same way a solicitor can but without the need for a solicitor to be involved.

Civil

The majority of Sham’s practice is in Civil Litigation which covers all areas but he does specialise in property/partnership disputes and personal injury matters.

Family

Sham has extensive experience in family law from care proceedings, financial relief order, non-molestation and children act proceedings

Crime

Sham is regularly instructed to act in heavyweight criminal cases and has an extremely busy and successful practice in all areas of criminal law, both publicly and privately funded. He has considerable experience of dealing with all types of cases. Sham’s down to earth manner makes him an effective advocate and popular with both lay and professional clients who repeatedly instruct him. Added to the above, with Sham being a former solicitor, he is also able to attend police station interviews with the client when the need arises.
