George undertook a Third Six at 10KBW, following successful completion of his pupillage at the Government Legal Department. His experience spans Immigration, Crime, and Civil matters, and he is accepting instructions in the Immigration and Civil fields.
George has extensive experience dealing with Immigration judicial reviews, drafting grounds of defence, and conducting advocacy at oral permission hearings. His work includes claims for asylum, refusals for entry clearance, and numerous human rights claims under Article 8 ECHR.
George has also worked as a legal adviser in the Department for Transport, where he advised on the interpretation of various treaties and conventions. He also spent six months working at the Attorney General’s Office, where he worked on both civil and criminal matters, including Unduly Lenient Sentences, Contempt of Court, and Consents to Prosecute.
Outside of the Bar, George is a multi-award-winning magician.
